What is a facelift?

Dr. Apo offers two facelift options: a full facelift (which includes a brow lift and addresses the entire face) and a lower facelift (which focuses on the mid-face, jowls, and neck). Both always include a neck lift.
What is the difference between a full facelift and a lower facelift?
A full facelift addresses the brow, mid-face, jowls, and neck in one comprehensive procedure. A lower facelift focuses on the mid-face, jowls, and neck — without the brow and forehead component. Both always include a neck lift. The right choice depends on where your aging is most visible, which Dr. Apo will assess during your consultation.
Is a neck lift always included?
Yes. Both the full facelift and the lower facelift always include a complete neck lift at this practice. The face and neck age together and produce the best results when addressed together.
Can I get a neck lift without a facelift?
For patients with loose neck skin or banding, the neck lift is performed as part of a facelift — not as a standalone procedure. Who is a good candidate for a facelift?
