Ear surgery typically involves reduction in the size of ears. People who feel that their ears are too big and/or unsightly may choose to pursue ear surgery if it may make them feel more secure or confident. But as with all surgery, people need to be aware of their health situation. Ultimately, people themselves need to weigh the costs and benefits of ear surgery.
