How does scar removal surgery work?
Scar removal surgery is rather straightforward to understand. Usually, all of the scarred tissue is removed from the face completely. Then, some of the adjacent skin tissue is moved onto the area where the scarred tissue was. If adjacent skin tissue is not moved, then a skin graft may have to be used, moving skin from somewhere else on the body.
