Plastic Surgery for Males
Plastic surgery is widespread in the United States. Many women have a variety of procedures done on them, such as:
- Breast augmentation
- Tummy tucks
- Face lifts
- Botox injections
- Lip injections
- Nose jobs
- Ear reductions
- Mid-face lifts
The plastic surgery industry has grown in recent years, as costs have dropped.
People know that women have plastic surgery, but few people know that even men have plastic surgeries done on them quite frequently. A number of male celebrities have, or are rumored to have had, facial plastic surgeries done on themselves. The most common plastic surgeries among males are Botox injections, face lifts, and ear reductions. Cheek implants are also common among men.
The fact that men choose to have plastic surgery done on them is very revealing. It gives us the insight that men are also concerned with their looks. They want to look young, handsome, and masculine. Although their plastic surgeries are not as drastic as women’s they are nonetheless noticeable.
It is important to keep in mind that just as many women’s plastic surgeries go wrong, so do some men’s plastic surgeries. Sometimes, the skin will react with the chemicals of the plastic surgery. Other times the chemicals, like Botox, will wear away, making the original “problem” more noticeable than before.
