Dr. Apostolakis is a Board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon (www.abfprs.org) and has limited his practice to cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face. Dr. Apostolakis is also a Board-certified Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgeon. He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is a fellow of The American College of Surgeons. He received his subspecialty training in Facial Plastic Surgery from E. Gaylon McCollough, the world-renowned surgeon practicing at the McCollough Institute (www.drmccollough.com) in Gulf Shores, Alabama. He has been practicing medicine in Austin since the fall of 2001 and moved into his new facility in February of 2002.

Dr. Apostolakis was born in Toledo, Ohio where he resided through his high school graduation. He continued on to The University of Michigan where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Economics. He received his medical doctorate at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and continued to The University of Iowa where he completed his residency in their highly acclaimed department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Finally Dr. Apostolakis completed his subspecialty training with Dr. McCollough during his Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship.
